The Rock PQ question - Blu-ray Forum

Hey everyone, I picked up The Rock the other day and it looks amazing but I noticed a little, almost distortion line going strait down the middle of the movie, very very subtle but once I noticed it I couldn't not see it. Its gotta be the movie cause I don't see it on anything else, regular tv, other movies, games etc. I have a Sharp Aquos with HDMI from my PS3. does anyone have any idea's or at least has anyone else noticed this? Thanks a ton

Its either the disk itself or try a cleaning disk on your player. Then see if it is still there.

It has to be the disc. I have this movie on blu, and their is no line going down the middle of it.

Bad disc. This movie has gotten great reviews across the board. I'm sure something as serious as a line going down the picture would have been noticed. Exchange it and if you still see the same line it's your setup. However if this is the only movie out of all the movies you own that you are seeing this line you can almost guarantee it's your specific copy of the Rock.

Take it back and get a replacement, It has to be the disc, I had no problems with this title whatsoever.

It's definitely not the movie itself, so you can at least rule that out. PQ was pristine.
