Twilight

Twilight - Well this should be very interesting! I have seen so much hate about this film and probably because I hear its considered a romance vampire film, or teen vampire film. To me if a film is good its good, if its bad its bad! So to those who felt the way I just explained, sorry to disappoint! I thought this was a very good vampire film. Very original and well executed. I wasnt sure if I would like it based on what I heard. I think people should keep an open mind and judge a film for what it is. This is one of the better vampire films in a while. I might even like it better than Underworld. Not sure as Ive only seen each film once. One thing I can already see coming is

[Show spoiler] the indians are wolves, and if Im right then it is kinda like Underworld.

The lead actress is pretty cute. The acting overall was a lot better than expected also. I cant wait to see part 2 now! I would rate this film 4/5. Ok let the chatter come! Haha! Got Em!!

It was ok not really my bag but not a bad film. My daughters and all their friends love the books and the movies. Much better than Underworld but then again I think that film was junk-o along the lines of the many mindless films.

Vampires don't FRAKKEN SPARKLE IN SUNLIGHT. THEY BURN TO A CRISP. You cant just ignore years and years of Vampire lore. Other than that the first film was eh. I havent seen the second.

Anyways, I actually liked Twilight as well. I wasn't jumping up for joy when I decided to use a free rental on it, but I was pleasantly surprised. I think it's a good teen love story, which is what I judge the series on more than the vampire aspect of it. I know, it is still a vampire series, but that's beside the point. I also think Kristen Stewart is pretty cute. You should enjoy New Moon as well since you enjoyed this so much.

I personally wouldn't go as far as to say I liked it better than Underworld as that movie is my favorite movie of all time (yep, I know, my taste immediately goes into question). That wouldn't be too shocking if I still had my original avatar though.

I agree. I could overlook such things if the story wasn't terrible along with the acting, but it was.

It was on Showtime last night....I was curious. I couldn't even last 20 minutes. I can see how it would appeal to teenagers though. It's like the New Kids on the Block of movies.

I loved this movie. Thought it was classic and will continue to be a classic for following generations.

One thing I thought the movie needed was:

It would have been another Mickey D's slaughter house.

Well yea Elvis I wouldnt expect u to like this film or Underworld for that matter. U have a completely diff taste in film then those, but atleast I can respect u dont judge a movie based on it bein a teen, or romance film. Some people are very shallow. Got Em!!

Well like I said I need to watch both of them again as sometimes in 1 viewing u may not know exactly how much u like a film. And yes sir Kristen is a cutie which I didnt know. I am lokkin forward to the sequel. Got Em!!

Why cant I?? Because its about the relationship of a girl and a guy? Because it takes place in high school?? Do u watch animated movies? I ask because arent cartoons for kids?? Just makin apoint if u do? I love animated films so dont take that the wrong way. I watch a film and judge it off of what the film is and if its any good. I dont base the type of crowd it attracts or if its a chick flick. If its good its good. I use to be that way when I was younger, which to me is very immature. Also I own Lost Boys and love it. To be honest lost Boys is very basic compared to Twilight as theres not much of a story and its more simplistic. But because I grew up on it and it is a classic of course I agree with u about Lost Boys, but that doesnt mean Twilight cant be good in its own right! Got Em!!

Well said, if you lived at my house you would depise this movie like I do. My wife and daughter won't stop watching and talking about it, which makes me wanna jump off the roof. I will say that the girls in the film are super hot, but the movie is just cheesy half the time. I can tell you that the second one is a little better. By the way I love animated and cartoon movies, no shame in my game.

Oh I have been there before. And that I can understand. Oh trust me there are certain movies people have made me dislike for similar reasons! I just try not to let that affect my actual take on the film when I actually view it. I just see a lot of people hate on it and Im sure most of them just hate it because of the atmosphere not that it actually sucks. But atleast u see where I am comin from. As for animated films and such, I love them also but I was just tryin to make a point as I figured u did watch them as most do. lol Now tell your wife and daughter to stop throwing Twilight up in your face so maybe u could respect it a lil more. Haha! Got Em!!

If I was single, I could definitely use the movie to my advantage, but hearing them babble about it ruined it for me. That's okay though because I ruined Pirates of the Carribean for them, haha!

I understand that. Even in the end, if you like Twilight better than Underworld, that's your choice. I'm biased since, like I said, Underworld is my favorite movie of all time. Maybe RockChalk was right when he said I liked crap.

Twilight was the first movie I saw Kristen in, so I didn't know either.
