I wonder if uncut premiere means we're finally getting a version that includes the rare Hazel Court topless scene?

Yeah, I remember it being one of my least favorite Hammer movies, but I'm hoping a proper restoration might endear it to me.

I don't get the hate for this one. It may not be perfect Hammer, but compare it to say Scars of Dracula and it's well made golden age Hammer.

I'm a big fan of The Man Who Could Cheat Death.
Never thought it would get this kind of restoration.
Great news.

Also, I believe the current version edits the finale - American rather than British cuts if I recall correctly.

I think this is great news. I’ve always like this film and it certainly needs an upgrade.

This should look nice. The blu-ray leaves a lot to be desired.

Great news.
As am I and as others have already echoed the blu-rays are very poor so a 4k restoration is great news. This is an instant purchase for me.

I, for one, cannot wait for this. Jack Asher's cinematography was made for HDR.

finally our very first Hammer horror masterpiece, with THE MAN WHO COULD CHEAT DEATH on 4K UHD, presented with both its legendary nude sequences and extra violent original ending fully intact!

Hell no.

Man Who Could Cheat Death has it's flaws, but it's a beautifully shot gothic from their golden era.

Scars has all that Hammer trope, but to the point of cliché with Lee and the production crew just phoning it in. Saved somewhat by actors like Pat Troughton giving it a bloody good go to raise the standards.

I'd happily watch either, but Scars IMHO is not well made in comparison.
