Now there is absolutley no guarantee that Toshiba, Paramount, or Universal are dropping HD DVD, so who will be pissed if it doesnt happen this week or even this month? I know you were all excited in friday when it seemed definite that it would end on Feb 18th but now everyone seems to be changing their thoughts to the end of this week or beyond. Now it would suck if they didnt but im not going to get pissed

i wouldn't be... time is on our (blu) side... Toshiba loses more per day then the BDA if they hold on to HD-DVD.

It will happen..and soon..Toshiba is a company afterall..and companies don't like to lose lots and lots of money..like they will if they continue on..because when companies lose money..heads roll.

Meh. Whether they admit defeat now or a couple of months from now makes no diff to me. Would be nice if they did sooner rather than later since it would speed up the going to Blu process, but it'll happen eventually.

Don't really care what Toshiba does, as long as Paramount and Universal releases all their movies in BD I'm a happy man.

Yup, I'm with everyone else. It would be NICE if it happened really soon, but we all know its going to happen eventually. I've waited this long, whats a few more months?

Dont know if anyone saw this, it seems to deny that a decision has already been made by Toshiba.
