Shout! Factory will be releasing The Terminal Man (1974) on Blu-ray on February 6th. Will post more info as it becomes available.

This is a big one, I wonder how many huge Warner titles they've been sitting on unless these are more recent acquisitions.

Finally! Mike Hodges' films have been treated well recently between this announcement, Arrow's Flash Gordon LE, and BFI's Get Carter LE.

That said, The Terminal Man would look the most phenomenal in a rigid box with its theatrical artwork! (Hopefully it’s in the UK boutique pipeline?)

Another Warner Archive DVD to chuck. Looks like Shout will be the repository for old WA titles. I still own quite a few I'd love to see upgraded

For years this has been a rumored WAC BD title. I can't believe Shout got it.

It's loooooooooong overdue but I wish it was WAC given Shout's track record.

An very interesting film from a very interesting year of films.

Love the black and white color pallet in a color film.

Love the stylization and the final shot is memorable.

That leaves
Missing Pieces (telefilm 1983) -- never released to home video.
Morons From Outer Space (1985) -- released on DVD.
Florida Straits (1986) -- released on VHS.

He also directed episodes of The Hitch Hiker and a music video.
He co-wrote the screenplay to Damien the Omen Part 2.

Florida Straits is a personal holy grail. It's one of those films no one knows who controls the rights, which is a shame since the film is quite memorable IMO. Some say MGM, some say Studiocanal. Nobody knows

I wish they'd get it sorted out. In the case you describe
the label needs to post a bond in the event an ownership
emerges to cover a potential lawsuit, in order for it to be
released. Alan Rudolph's Remember My Name (1978),
similar problem over the music.

I agree it's a fine film.

Saw this on TCM last night. Was shocked to read Scorsese, Altman, Kubrick, and Malick sing high praise for it. It's fine but I've seen better from this genre.

It’s a good but not great film IMHO. I enjoyed it.

I want to see a good version of this sooooo bad. The 1.33 crummy LD and even the VHS are usually stupidly expensive on ebay.

Warner Archives MOD / DVD is in the correct aspect
ratio and it looks okay on the MOD / DVD scale.

It looks like the WAC DVD-R at least had a three-minute theatrical trailer, so hopefully that's on there and it's just been left off the back cover. It's disappointing to see these releases come out about $10 more than WAC Blu-rays and have potentially even less content.

The first half is rather slow. They spent too much time on the surgical procedure, imo.
