Pretty surprised this was shot on film actually. I guess 2011 was still transitioning period. Pegg bottomed out on the press tour for this, so it's his last film before getting sober.

This is a pleasant little surprise. I enjoy this one. It's not the most amazing film but it's fun seeing Frost and Pegg cross over with the Rogen crew.

I'm surprised that the 4K master of a VFX-heavy film from 2011 would be a scan and rebuild from the OCN, as opposed to being sourced from the original DI. Could that part of the announcement be a bit of boilerplate that accidentally went through?

Saw this in theaters back in the day and they forgot to put the anamorphic lens on the projector for the first five minutes.

Eh. If I recall, the entire movie is just “he’s an alien but he smokes weed and knows pop culture references! Isn’t that hilarious?” Turns out not really.
