SYNOPSIS

In this fantasy-adventure, set in a world peopled by creatures of myth and magic, a prince embarks on a quest to find the magical Glaive and then rescue his young bride. Colwyn (Ken Marshall) is the leader of a mythical sword-and-sorcery group in pursuit of "the Beast" that has kidnapped his fiancée, Lyssa (Lysette Anthony).

I never got around to picking up the blu-ray, so...

Just when I thought I was out (of over-priced SteelBook collecting), they pull me back in! I remember being underwhelmed by this movie (on attempted rewatches I usually doze off before the end), except for James Horner's score. Time has morphed this into a guilty pleasure.

Still can't believe this stars the same guy who played Eddington on Deep Space Nine!

Absolutely love Krull, such a fun adventure film. Cheesy as hell, but it’s all the better for it.

I'm tired of complaints about steelbooks. Buy your copy, take the disc out, throw away the steelbook, make your own artwork and stick it in a spare case. Problem solved.

The problem with steelbooks is not what they are, it's what they cost.

It's more that they're steelbooks to justify the cost, rather than costing what they do because they're steelbooks, if that makes sense to you. We're in full niche market territory now.
