Well, if we consider the real reasons why HD DVD was born: only because Gates was pissed at BDA for not accepting HDi and decided to create a format war to build traction for downloading, then I'd say HD DVD went to hell.

I don't usually ascribe a soul to electronics, but I'll play.

I almost said heaven because it was worthy, then I remembered all the hell it caused. Not even the combo disc could save it.

Rest in Pieces, HD DVD.
