Does anyone know if they are going to put out bluray version of these or other cartoons???? Or should i go ahead and buy the regular versions!!

It is highly doubtful they will release any of these to Blu-ray any time soon.
There is a small chance that Futurama might have a movie on BD, but so far that rumor has come full circle and no one knows what the chance of it happening is since they already released the DVD months ago with no Blu-ray in sight.

Simpsons movie is on Blu-ray.
Transformers 1980's cartoon movie in on Blu-ray in UK.
There are several animé on Blu as well.

Well, I do remember in the 'Bender's Big Score' movie commentary they said something along the lines of "when it comes out on an hd format disc, they already have a print for it". That sounds promising to me.

There's a trailer for Bender Big Score on The Simpson's movie on Bluray and it's in 1080p...

Big Score and the 2 other Futurama movie that are coming were all done in 1080p

The tv serie was drawn in computer at 640x480 so there's nothing to do with them. Same for American Dad, Family Guy, The Simpsons (since 2000), Futurama Tv Serie etc..

I wouldn't buy any DVDs at this point. Even obscure titles are making their way to the format. But animation doesn't seem to benefit "as much" from high definition as live action. My DVD of "Cars" looked pretty damn cool on the PS3 upconverted. I still went ahead and sold it in favor of the Blu-ray.

They showed a highdef preview on the Simpsons Blu-ray for Futurama BBS, It looked really sweet. Made me want it even more.
