With no announcement for blue harvest coming to blu, which seems like the best possibility, it doesn't seem very likely that it will happen.

The fact that it's not widescreen probably isn't helping either.

I'd probably buy it though as I'm a family guy *****.

why? I have them on dvd and can't see how it can look better. Since it doesn't have much variation in colors. It looks clearer than Sunday nights 720p Fox offering.

Also the Star Wars episode is being sold separately as well on Jan 15.

I'd like to see them bring King of the Hill to Blu as well, especially since they apparently canceled the remaining seasons for DVD release. It'll be a looong time though, if ever, for either series.

If they put all the seasons on one blu I'd be all over it. But I'm not sure if it's my crappy provider (charter) but all the family guys on the fox hd station are always 4:3 non-hd. Does anyone else get the fam man in hd?

It's Upscaled on Cartoon Network HD and TBS HD. The color looks better but it's a stretched 4:3 image, nothing that special. On Fox, it should be a standard 480i picture even on the digital feed. The only exception is the Simpson's (the Movie on Blu and the Simpson's Game has HD clips) is still broadcasted in standard.

It's coming for standard DVD, but nothing annouced for Blu. Doubt it will be coming anytime soon.

This won't hit blu unless it's to combine all the episodes. Not sure if anyone noticed the first season or so is really really crappy. Doubt anything will fix that.

OK like I said, only if it was "everything" on one disc.

I would pay $80 for all the episodes up till now on one disc. What would you all say about that? I figure it'd be up around $100 or so to buy all the seasons. Hell I'd pay the extra $20 to make it a $100 just to have them all on one disc and say goodbye to insert this disc to see this episode.

Edit: shadblz, that scene of Will Ferrell singing dust in the wind is the funniest thing ever. God I can't wait for Old School on Blu.
