i want the onkyo 705...its cheapest on amazon but would i still get the same kind of warranty i would if i were to buy it at CC?

Yes.

The burden is upon the manufacturer, in your case, Onkyo.

Onkyo has listed their authorized online dealers here, Amazon is one of them. Make sure it is sold directly by Amazon and not from a 3rd party.
