Default UK Golden Compass blu-ray extended?

Hey, i thought this would be a good way to use my first. The uk art for the Golden Compass has just been released, and on the 2-disc it says "Extended Cut", your thoughts?

At one time it may have been extended and they didn't change the keyart. That was a big debate before the sequels were moved forward on, whether to just ship the EE from the getgo to sell more copies

The extras and the keyart are essentially the same between NL and EIV, and since NL shelled out (and lost a lot of it) the main cash for the film, I doubt they'd let EIV take that cake

Hopefully it's region free.

Very unlikely, If it really is extended ( which again, I doubt), there is zero chance

If it really is extended, I guess I'm canceling my Amazon order.

All UK New Line releases from EIV have been direct ports of the U.S. releases,(that doesn't mean audio settings, though), examples would be Hairspray and Shoot 'Em Up as well as Rush Hour 3. Do not reply on ANY info on the rear of the artwork, EIV leave features and options off all the time. Shoot 'Em Up's PiP track is not mentioned anywhere, but it IS on there. Hope that helps.
