Default Settings for Sony KDL32U3000 (PS3)

I just bought a 32" Sony KDL32U3000. Got it set up so far on my ps3 for 1080i. What other settings must i make sure that are set for blu ray and dvd to give the best possible picture?

As i watch a lot of dvd's still. Any help will be great thanks.

For an LCD TV, I would set it at 720p instead - you will get less noticeable lag since it is a progressive rather than an interlaced picture. This will help on games.

If you're getting the sound from the TV or using a non-HDMI receiver, choose audio output as bitstream. If you're using an HDMI receiver, choose the LPCM option.

That should be about all you need to do.

thanks for the reply, does that mean that i will get 720 lines all displayed at once rather than 540 then the other 540 in another pass for 1080i, so for blu ray and dvd upscaling it will be better quality picture?

thanks
