Having an awesome TV with surround sound speakers, either a PS3 or a Blu-ray player, with every BD title to date; or socializing with people, which would you choose?

Anymore I'd rather just hang out with my wife and watch a movie than go anywhere with anybody else. It's getting expensive to go out, and the return on investment, to me, is diminishing greatly.

I completely agree.

Especially since my wife usually pays when we go out.

This is why I still prefer a theater, bring the group of friends to the theater, and not have to worry about cleaning the house up afterwards! During parties, I keep the TV room locked. I don't want drunken fools destroying my TV.

Blu over Friends? man... that explains a lot here.

Friends of course..... it's not even a close contest. I'd give up Blu-Ray forever for an extra 5 hours a week to play golf......

My friends come to watch my Blu-ray. If they didn't like it, I would make new friends.
