Post I'd like to see "Love Actually" on Blu-ray soon!

I admit that I'm not a big Hugh Grant fan, but after watching him in the "ultimate" romantic comedy "Love Actually" on TV the other day, I found it to be a surprisingly enjoyable movie! I mean, I actually found myself getting sucked into the film! It pretty much covered different types of love (attitudes and portrayals) in the forms of reality, classic fantasy, and pure comedy! While the film is definitely an ensemble piece with multiple storylines, Hugh Grant does lead one of the biggest cast lists in a long time, which also includes Liam Neeson, Keira Knightley, Emma Thompson, Colin Firth, Laura Linney, Alan Rickman, Bill Nighy, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Martin Freeman, Martine McCutcheon, Rowan Atkinson, and some special appearances by Billy Bob Thornton, Claudia Schiffer, Elisha Cuthbert, January Jones, Shannon Elizabeth, and Denise Richards!

This should be reason enough for Universal to release "Love Actually" on Blu-ray ASAP!

I would like to see it on Blu as well, but I don't think Universal will ever put it out on this format. I saw it in theaters twice and it is one of my favorite movies. The movie didn't fare so well, so I think we'll have to settle for the lowsy up-conversion. Or possibly it will only be released overseas.

I saw "Love, Actually" on TV years ago and liked it, so I could see getting it on Blu-ray since I don't have it on DVD (not that I didn't try as I saw it at a $6.50 bin at Wal-Mart one day and was prepared to buy it until I saw it was a Pan & Scan version).

Though I'm not a Hugh Grant fan, I can't wait for "About A Boy" myself as I'm a BIG fan of that movie... which is from some of the same folks as "Love, Actually".

Love, Actually is certainly not my type of movie, anyone who knows me would know that, but it was actually pretty good. Extremely rude - some scenes are so rude I'm incredibly surprised it got an M rated here. I would probably buy it when it comes out.

I usually don't like this type of movie, but I found it to be quite enjoyable. I would definitely pick it up.

Kiera Knightly, Laura Linney, and the other lovely ladies.. I mean, great actresses... What? Even Ookie likes it?

It seems a bit chic-flicky at first, but yes, I think it's a great all-around movie about love. From the pain of a widower, to the crushes of youth. I'm not afraid to say it's a fav.

This definitely belongs in the Wish List forum.

Richard Curtis should revisit this title with an extended cut.

That movie was awesome.

It is definitely on my Blu Waiting List and I don't think it can be classified as a chick flick either. It's a three ring circus in that there is something for everyone.

Definitely a good movie.

I never cared for Hugh Grant until I saw About a Boy. Then I saw Love Actually, and I have to say I liked him even more in this. I watch it every year while wrapping Christmas presents. I'd buy both of these movies the day they came out.

Love Actually, About a Boy, and (I'm embarrassed to admit it) Notting Hill are all great movies. I would buy any of those Hugh Grant movies on blu ray if (when) they become available.
