Default Just added "Bruce Almighty" and "Air Force One" to my Blu-ray collection

Both are "all region" Disney(touchstone/bvi) releases, AVC encodes, with PCM and DD audio tracks.

Bruce almighty even has the universal globe thingy at the beginning

TAKE THAT HD-Duffusses (HD-dvd)

I got "Air Force One" here : http://us.yesasia.com/en/PrdDept.asp...id-1004832564/

Bruce Almighty Here: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Bruce-Almigh...9206059&sr=8-1

Yes. I have receive both orders.

They are both very solid encodes, but Bruce Almighty gets a slight edge overall on PQ. But only slightly.

I would suggest that you wait because 'Gangs of New York' will be released here... eventually since Buena Vista (Disney) is the distributor.

Yes the cases are bigger. They are the same as PS3 game cases.

oh yea? good call. I'd much rather pay $20 for a BD than $40. Thanks for the heads up

Are you in America? Amazon.uk lists Bruce Almighty as region 2. It is my understanding that players in the U.S. only play region 1.

Bruce Almighty is all region. A scan of the disc has been posted here and it clearly shows ABC on the disc.

I would be careful about anything from Entertainment in Video though, so far their releases do not seem to play here - The Crow for example.

A user left feedback on this web site: http://bluray.liesinc.net/ that said "Lucky Number Slevin" was "all region". but of course, It is always better to confirm this before Importing.

I was going to order Bruce from amazon UK, but the total, with shipping, came to about 26 pounds, roughly $50. That's too much for me for one movie. Is there any other source for this movie where the total is under $40?

Is there a good place to find blu-rays that we can import that will play in US blu-ray players?

There are a few if avail i'd be interested in buying even if they are over the top expensive.

I suggest you guys consider importing from Australia rather than Europe. All of you in the US will benefit from the exchange rate being much better for you when importing from Australia than say the UK.

Here in Australia we have titles such as Air Force One, Con Air, The Rock, Crimson Tide and Bruce Almighty all released and all are region ABC (Identical to the UK versions I believe).

I suggest rying the website Ezydvd, it is as reliable as Amazon and all of us Australian Bluboys will be able to vouch for it. You can view their BD selection here:
http://www.ezydvd.com.au/bluray.zml

As an example, you should be able to pick up Bruce Almighty including shipping to the US for roughly US$37 using todays exchange rate. All the other titles should come to roughly the same price.

Hope this helps!

Someone needs to set up a site to purchase just imported blu-ray movies. I would but I don't have the start up funds.
