I don't. I figure I can wait for the eventual Blu-ray release of whatever it is that I might want that's not out yet.

I buy TV shows and the odd used movie that is unlikely to be on BD anytime soon. New releases and favorite catalogue movies will always be BD purchases though.

Yes. Blu-rays are still pretty expensive so I'll occasionally buy SD. If it's a movie that I know I'll keep for a long time or is a personal favorite, I'll definitely get it on blu-ray. If it's a movie that is a blind buy or something I want to check out but pretty much know isn't something I'll keep for long in my collection, I may get it on SD, especially when many of the SD prices are $4.99 and $6.99 now.

Some TV stuff and the occassional documentary. Also, most of the MMA stuff that I know wont be on Blu for a long long time, if ever.

Anything I buy from now on will be Blu-Ray, new titles plus I'll be slowly changing all my DVD's for Blu-Ray.

I still buy MMA videos like UFC and Pride in SD as it will be a long time if ever before these are released on Blu.

Now that Pride is gone I will say never.

Same here, I buy Blu's I like but rent the rest. As for SD I buy the kids movies so they will behave in the van while we are on the road.

I'm trying to avoid it as much as possible especially in regards to movies. With TV shows, I'm a little more flexible and might consider DVDs if a show I really like won't be coming out on blu-ray anytime soon. I do occasionally rent DVDs though (mostly low-budget horror flicks).

Yeah, I am not holding my breath at all. I'm just glad we finally got over to widescreen enhanced. Brought a tear to my eye with the Shockwave 06 release.

My last Dvd purchase was American Gangster.... one before that was Knocked up...so I've been doing well as far as NOT buying SD's. Those two will more than likely be on BD within a year. If American Gangster doesn't come with the DC, then I'll have made out all right.

there have been some movies that I wanted to buy recently that did not come out on Blu-Ray so I passed on them...hopefully they will release them eventually.

I hardly buy any SD DVDs anymore. It's like this for me: "Once you go Blu, you don't go back!"
