. I am not sure that any of the movies deserve a remake. They could as well come up with something new.

The reason for all the remakes is due to the trickle down from the writers strike. There's a lack of good scripts out there. It's much quicker to do an update of an existing story. Hopefully these will all work themselves out of the system.

I agree doing an update to a story is fine but would it be better that the original that is the question.

Valley Girl is one of my all-time favorites. A remake would probably suck.

I'd rather have the original "10" on Blu-ray. If there's going to be a remake, they need an unknown for the Bo Derek role.

Is it just me or is Hollywood gone remake crazy for some reason? First it was sequels in the 80's and 90's, now this.
