Laptops with Blu Ray burner

I am in the process of picking up another computer for work, I wouldn't mind going with a Blu Ray burner in case I would like to burn my HD videos to Blu Ray. What options are out there? I haven't seen a LOT of companies that even offer a Blu Ray RW as an option.

Thanks for the help, I am getting frustrated even looking.

Dell XPS laptops have them. I have had my XPS 1530 for a while and I like it.

Sony Vaio FW
The 16.4-inch screen which Sony touts as being "ultra-widescreen" has a 1,600x900-pixel native resolution, which is a 16x9 aspect ratio. That's lower than some 16-inch laptops such as the Dell Studio XPS 16. While its size is great for movie watching, this model's resolution--like the previous FW351J/H model--aren't true 1080p resolution, making Blu-ray watching a compromised experience. You could always watch the Blu-ray on an external HDTV using the built-in HDMI port, but we wish that this Vaio had increased resolution

I had that laptop as a well and had a blu-ray burner in mine as well. great laptop but i believe its been replaced with the studio XPS ones at this point

Lots of options, depending on what you want to do with the laptop. Dell, HP, Sony and ASUS all have blu-ray options off the top of my head.

Or you could just opt for the 1920x1080 monitor... (i have an fw)

but sonystyle doesn't offer it anymore afaik (the FW that is)

but anyway Vaios offer Blu-ray burners too for their laptops; they're always having sales/special offers/yadayada for components too when you configure a laptop

so check em out


edit: oh nevermind the FW is still there but its not on the page with all the laptop models that you can scroll through; you have to look at their special offers scroll bar here's the direct link to configure

and it looks like the 1920x1080 screen is standard now $960 now with a blu-ray burner
and the 1gb dedicated memory ATI card is standard too
