Default Back speakers....

Just looking for some help picking up a couple back speakers for my set up. I bought a 5.1 Yamaha set and am looking to add the 6 and 7th speaker. What would you recomend? Some people say you should keep the same speaker brand but is that the case. I dont want to spend a ton of money just some good quality backs.

Personally I wouldn't bother just yet with a 6th & 7th speaker. There isn't much out there to fully take advantage of it. However, if you're set on it....what's your budget?

Matching speaker brands and models does make a lot of sense and most of us (myself included) adhere to that train of thought, but it isn't absolutely necessary.

Thanks for responding. I dont know....I am pretty new to the audio stuff so not sure what a normal decent speaker costs. I would like to stay around $100 i guess. By the way I cant BELIEVE how much great audio hightens the experience!
