Default fronts to close to centre?

Hey everyone, just a quick question here. I've recently purchased an energy speaker system. It sounds great but there is one thing kind of bugging me. It seems like the centre channel is not loud enough. I'll turn it up to compensate for this but than the action parts blow me out of the water they are so loud. I have a pretty big centre channel, it's this one here

so do you think maybe my front speaks are to close to the centre?? Should I spread them out a little more. I turned the output up on my centre but I noticed the voices started getting distorted at times. Thanks
Here is a pic of how I have it set up now.

Also do you think I should move the subwoofer into the corner??
