Quick Need Help About Warranty! - Blu-ray Forum

When you buy a tv from like circuit city or best buy do you have to buy a warranty with them?
or can i get a warranty from the brand of the tv i buy and if i can is it cheaper than circuit city or best buy.
i am either getting a samsung or mitsubishi

I know Mitsubishi has thier own warranty service; all you have to do is call them at 1-800-888-8245 (http://www.mitsubishi-tv.com/j/i/183...html?mid=81901), tell them what model you have and your mailing address and they will send you the warranty information and the prices for a 1,2 or 3 year extended warranty. All of the warranty service (for projection screens at least) are in-home repairs so you do not have do deliver the TV anywhere if it breaks down.

The prices are reasonable too; I think I paid ~$200 for a 2-year extended on my 65" DLP.

that was the 52 inch one i was thinking about getting over the samsun 87W
