For any of you who do not possess all of the four included movies, buy with confidence. These films are pure gold, as are their respective high definition transfers.

I have to second the Great Owl. These are absolutely essential films to have in your collection. Why you don't have them already is beyond me!

I got this funky faux LP set last year for under $12 from Amazon Spain. I finally picked "To Have and Have Not" during the WAC sale last month.
![]() I might get rid of them and pick up this compact set when it goes on sale. Last edited by Deciazulado; 10-20-2018 at 08:11 PM. |

Been waiting for something like this. Never bought any of these yet (only saw them on DVD back when my aunt and uncle had that set) so I'll happily grab this. Big Sleep is great, Key Largo and Have/Have Not are fine, and I remember liking the first-person perspective gimmick in Dark Passage.

I own Big Sleep, Key Largo is currently sitting in Shipito's warehouse waiting for me to arrange reshipment, and To Have and Have Not is sitting on my DVR (still, because I tried to watch it and fell asleep 20 minutes in, and I don't want to go straight back to it while it's too fresh in my memory). Easy pass for me.
If I love THAHN, and it drops enough to be comparable to getting that and Dark Passage, I'd probably consider it for shelf space and try to offload the two I do own though. |

I hate to be that guy, but High Sierra has yet to see a Blu-ray release, and it's the only major Warners Bogart film (the others being The Petrified Forest, The Maltese Falcon, Casablanca, The Treasure of the Sierra Madre, To Have and Have Not, The Big Sleep, Dark Passage and Key Largo) that hasn't got one. Even Passage to Marseille has a Blu-Ray! High Sierra is so neglected you can't even get the DVD any more.
So with this in mind, why are Warners just repackaging previously released material? |
