Default Blu-ray question

Hi guys I just recently got a 32" 720p Samsung tv to accommodate my ps3. I'm thinking about buying some blu-ray movies but am still not quite sure if it would be worth spending the 30$ to watch blu rays on a 32" 720p tv. Any opinions please?

Where did you get the idea that all Blu-ray movies are in the $30 price range?

Well the blu-rays that I want which are transformers and eventually the dark knight. Transformers is currently 32 dollars here in Canada. But my main question is how does it look in 720p?? Is there a huge difference between 1080p and 720p especially on a 32"??

And you will most definately see some of the Blu-ray advantage with a 32" set. Especially if you have an surround sound system to go with it.

you will see a difference. there is not that huge of a difference though between 720p and 1080p on a 32" set! Blu's will always look stunning though! Go ahead and get it, you will not be disapointed

the big differences between 720p and 1080p come when you increase the size of the screen! another factor is how far you sit from the screen as well.

Yes big difference from DVD to Blu Ray on 720p - especially NTSC DVDs (North American standard). People on here talking about sound being the biggest difference, maybe on a top notch sound system, I notice the picture quality difference more.
