i tried so hard to find a store like bb, cc, and frys, they have the tv on display but it was always playing those demos that they run on all the tvs. not an actual bluray.

ask the salesmen if you can hook up your ps3 and watch some of your best blu-rays for fast action/pq, etc. im sure that they will oblige you

i tried, they said no. their excuses were along the lines of, "its wall mounted so we cant" or "we dont have any technician to do that right now" or even "you can go check out the samsung 6/7 series thats hooked up to the bluray..-_-

wow, what a bunch of ********s...did you ask a manager? because at my BB store, (florence KY, store #161) we were always very accomodating and would try to make our customers happy. thats their freakin job. and tell them that it doesnt take a technician to plug in an HDMI cable

Yes you will! Although at that TV size its going to be a lot harder to decern the ghosting effect. I still get ghosting even with the 120hz/motion enhancer engaged on my 52"xbr4 with either my ps3 or LG BH200. The only way to fix it is don't buy the TV and get a plasma This is an issue not fully resolved with LCDs as we speak.....

BTW I have the 37a550 hooked up to a sony bdp350 and I still get the ghosting

no, the 52" is 60hz also. the six series and up are 120hz. blu-rays are watched through my ps3.

obviously its not as good as smooth as a 120hz set but it does the job pretty well.

I have the 32A330 and I have no problems with motion jitters (its only 720p) with my Sony BDP-S350. I love both my TV and my player and have had no problems so far (fingers crossed!)

Yes I think you will, if it's a 60hz set and can't accept and display a native 24p signal, with all 24p Blu-ray discs, which are the majority, you'll get 3:2 pulldown judder (as well as any judder caused by the 24fps frame rate/film's shutter angle).

don't speak in generalities....we aren't the ones closing 100+ stores.

I would have no problem accomodating this at my store, hell about the only thing i wouldnt do is crack open a brand new ps3 to test it.
