Excellent list, i especially can't wait for...

jarassic park trilogy
back to the future trilogy
lord of the rings trilogy the extended editions

all the rest are awsome to, like starwars, titanic, Indiana Jones. these movies should really make blu-ray stand out even more.

Interesting that a few of these are announced or rumored, and the article does not make mention.

Yeah, The Passion just got announced.
And LOTR is slated for next year, along with Back To The Future.
But titles like the Alien Series, Jurassic Park, Star Wars are not even on the horizon.

Would definitley be picking up most of those titles. But as they're the most wanted we also want them done right with the best video and audio possible, so I'm prepared to wait as long as necessary.

I will probably get 9 out of 10 movies. Gone with the Wind doesnt really interest me.

I WILL buy the entire list when released. I haven't nodded so much while reading an article in a while.

In the Christmas Story tin, LOTR: Fellowship of the Rings is listed as a title coming soon (no date is provided) on an advert inside.

Weird... according to the article I was a 13-19 year old girl when Titanic came out. Depending on your world view, he could be right about the girl thing but I'm pretty sure I was 21 at the time. Seems a bit offensive to stereotype your potential readers like that though.

I'd probably pick up 8 of them on release day. Passion of the Christ holds less than zero interest for me. And despite being the right demographic, I didn't care for Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings (or his version of King Kong...though that was mostly Jack Black's fault). I did finally pick up the extended editions on DVD, but they were going for $7.50 each at Best Buy (on top of which I used a $5 Rewardzone certificate). When they reach that same price on Blu-Ray, I might pick them up again.

Not really interested in Passion or Gone...I'd really like to see Jaws make it to BD and think it's more than worthy enough to be on that list.

Interesting read... I agree with most of what they wrote!

I want these titles pretty bad.... mainly Jurassic Park!

Alien Quadrology
Back to the Future
Jurassic Park
Indiana Jones
Titanic

These have been announced and they are coming fairly soon...

Finding Nemo
Lord of the Rings
The Passion of the Christ
