Amazon has some deals right now....
Polk Monitor 70 floorstanding, Polk CS2 center, Polk PSW 10 sub are on sale together for $432 Add some Monitor 30's for rears @ $101, then buy the pioneer 1018 for about $450 and you are just under $1000.... and this is some bad a$$ stuff. Sub is a little weak, but suitable for most applications. Total $983 Sony SS-F6000 fronts, CN5000 center and B3000 rears for $379 on amazon, add a sub elemental Designs A2-300 from elemental designs $350 and an Onkyo 606 $319 on amazon. Very good speakers, BAD A$$ sub, very good receiver total $1048 either one would set you up nice. IMO Last edited by callas01; 12-02-2008 at 02:37 PM. |

Here's a description of it and reviews: http://www.yamaha.com/yec/products/p...l?CNTID=567422 http://www.avrev.com/home-theater-av...-receiver.html I just found it online and bought it for $277 shipped. The retail price when it was released was $999, and it was one step down from Yamaha's RX-V1800 receiver. You'll get a heck of a lot of receiver with a lot of $$$ left over to upgrade your speakers. It's a steal. |
