Question Can someone recommend a game with 7.1 LPCM audio?

I have heard there are several out there. I think one of the Metal Gear games? I'm curious to hear how this sounds, but would like a recommendation or two.

I can confirm that Metal Gear Solid 4 is Dolby Digital 5.1 (all previous versions on PS2 and PS1 were 2 channel stereo, although MGS2 had a couple of cutscenes that play in Dolby 5.1 - the intro and the ending, I believe).

I've not heard of any 7.1, but I'll also be curious to see if anyone else has.

Anyone here have any of the 7.1 titles you could recommend?

I have Ratchet & Clank. I didn't realize it was 7.1, but it does sound fantastic! And it is a great game as well.

Heavenly Sword was a heavenly turd IMHO. I haven't played any others on that list.

Jericho, Bioshock,The Darkness and Oblivion are all good games. Can't say on the sound though cause I have a 5.1 setup. But they sound awsome on that.

Uncharted should be at the top of that list of games to play.

Dead Space has the best sound I've ever heard in a videogame. It's nonstop 360 degree immersion with bass that can shake your house apart.

As fantastic as the audio is in Dead Space, it's not 7.1, only 5.1 (but it makes excellent use of what it has.. easily the best audio design I've seen in quite some time).

I believe the poster above me who recommended Killzone 2 is right on the money, however. Fantabulous 7.1 audio from KZ2.

The multiplayer is where the 7.1 really shines.

Hot Shots Golf is a good little golf game - it might be a little too anime/cartoony for some but that is the appeal to me. It h as great physics but you don't have the annoying commentary like you do in Tiger Woods.

The weather noises are the only thing I realized coming through the rear and side speakers...
