40-42" LCD for under a $1000 - Blu-ray Forum

Can anyone suggest a good LCD for under a grand. 40-42". Trying to help a friend find one. Thanks

s series sony are great if you spend time tweaking the settings

I have the ln40a530 and it's great.. Looks nice!!

what I am saying is that model sony has low contrast ratio's, and very little features, the sammy 550 is a much better product for the price.
