Default Samsung PN42A450 Question....

Does anyone have this TV? It is a 720p with 20,000:1 contrast ratio. Just wondering b/c CC has a deal right now.....

This TV + XBox 360 for $799.00.

Seems like a great deal....I am looking for a 42" TV for the upstairs and plan on hooking the PS3 up to it. The XBox 360 seems like it would just be a bonus.

Also, with this size TV would it be worth it to go for a 1080p?

anything 40 inch and above I would say go 1080p, yea its a good deal
but I would still get the Pan th42pz80u for $895 shipped on amazon.
unless you desperatly need a xbox 360 go with the 1080p Panasonic.

with tax on the Samsung it would be the same price and you are already hooking up a ps3 to it

I have the 50",
right now my boys are playing the PS3 on it and it's a good plasma.

If you have a chance to get a 1080p plasma i would say go for it .
But remember all 1080p plasmas aren't great.

The 1080i plasma which i have is very good at doing 1080i.The movies are bright in color and the blacks are Black not dark grey.

Games on it just look amazing and blu, while blu is in a class of it's own.

So if your thinking about getting this Samsung plasma knowing that it's 1080i then i give it my recommendation and it's not because a have the same series.I Am not like that
Good luck Bro
