Default GAming adaptor and my Sony 550

Okay..I have a desktop computer with a linksys wireless G router (WRT54G ver 2) in the upstairs of my house.

I have the good ole Sony 550 hooked up to a linksys WGA54G-RM ver 2 gaming adaptor as so I can hook up to BD Live.

I have had this setup since the day I recieved my Sony.

Every so often the connection fails on me and I cant get into BD LIve.

..but usually, it comes back with no probs. UP until a few days ago.

I just cant seem to connect anymore. The light on the gaming adaptor is not picking up the signal to the router.

I know how to get into the router settings, but I am not hugely familar w/ routers and setup of them. I can do the basics.

Is there anything I should put into my router settings as so it will pick up the gaming adaptor? I have run the software for the adaptor, but since its not picking up the signal, the software wont reinstall. I cant get into the adaptor menu for the same reason.

Hopefully I have explained this well enough. If not..just ask me questions and hopefully I can respond.

Anyways...any thoughts? Are there settings within the router menu I need to be inserting in order to 'pick up' the gaming adaptor? Or is there something else?
