Default PSN Store - Coming Attractions?

Even though I often bring up the question, had to ask:

Seeing a recent flood of new back-catalog announcements on Digital Bits (Grease, Big, Falling Down, etc.), can't help noticing that most of these were already available for at least a month or more on the HD section of Playstation Network's movie-download service--
Which keeps bringing up the theory that--in addition to most of the Blu/ex-HD titles already available--we may actually be seeing back-catalog titles being spec test-marketed by Warner, Paramount and MGM to judge commercial sale later...
Don't know whether they may be simply recycling titles from HD satellite channels, but seems that as long as a 1080 master exists, there seems to be a connection to the ability of the title to eventually show up on disk--Particularly as most of the titles seem to be in collections of "Movie + Unsuccessful-sequel", or star collections for future boxset.

Bearing this in mind, thought I'd list the current state of undisked back-catalog HD downloads for possible watch (leaving aside those already announced/cancelled)--Not saying that we MAY get these, but as long as the studio masters are out there, it's not out of the theoretical realm of possibility?:

(And hey, who moved this to Wish Lists, when I implied they might or might not be actually coming?
Are you saying I actually want to see "Superman III", "Exorcist II: the Heretic" or "Adventures of Pluto Nash" go to Blu??)

provide me with release dates and I will move it back, otherwise this or in the gaming section are the only other options. You are talking about streaming downloads at 720p not blu-ray discs.

I looked and couldnt find any of these titles

He's saying since these movies are are available in HD on the PSN video store, that there might be an obvious chance that they will come to blu-ray also. it has already happend with some movies on there.

And specifically, that the reason we're getting them on PSN download ahead of time is that Warner, Paramount, MGM and sometimes Lionsgate are timid about back-catalog (so, why do we never see Sony, Disney or Universal back-titles on there?) and might be trying to gauge customer interest out of the blue--And that for PS3 users to rally and "vote" for a few of their old favorites by plunking $4.50 virtual bucks on a download rental might do more good in the immediate longrun than any imaginary petition might do...

...Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm off to download Warner's HD "Clash of the Titans" to kick them in the pants about the version we were supposed to get last summer.
