Just curious to see where you guys(and gals) buy your PS3 games from.

ie: Futureshop, Walmart, Amazon, etc

Amazon, I usually keep the games I want on my wishlist and get them when there's a price drop...

I buy all my games from Gamestop/EB Games. The employee's at my location know me way too well.

For the most part Best Buy. I used to religiously preorder from Gamestop, but for some reason I can't stand them now. Gamestop not pricematching any competitors is a big blow for me. I remember they had Bioshock for 59.99 (PS3) while every other store in my area had it cheaper (29.99-49.99).

The other big kicker for me against Gamestop is my uncle was going to the mall so I gave him my $50 GS gift card and asked him to pick me up Resistance 2. He came back with a game taht wasn't shrinkwrapped, but instead had the price tag on the cover of the game and a round sticker sealing the opening of the box. I didn't care at the time, because it was clearly new, but the more I thought about it, the more I hated it.

For me, in the end, it is wherever is cheaper, and if Best Buy price matches, i go there (Reward Zone Gamers Club).

BestBuy.com (If local is OOS, plus Free S/h for Silver members), In Store Pickup)
Target (Best Clearance now that CC is gone)
GameFly (Great Used Deals)
GameStop (Only if necessary or Exclusive)

I would do most of my shopping at Gamestop, but the employees at all of the Gamestops I've been to openly bash on the PS3 loudly for all of the customers in the store to hear. Sometimes even going so far as to comment what they think of anyone who would buy non-XBOX games.

I've even had a Gamestop employee pick a fight with me because I was trying to purchase a PS3 title. It was of paramount importance to him that I must justify my ownership of a PS3 when it has no games (nevermind the one in my hand I was trying to purchase), and the 360 is a better console.

As far as I can tell, Gamestop's corporate policy is to only hire 360 fanboys to work at their stores.

Best Buy and Target end up getting my business.

I wish there was a dedicated game store like Gamestop that didn't harass PS3 customers, but there doesn't seem to be. Seriously... it's like we're made to feel shame over our console choice. I wonder how much that kind of thing affects north american software sales numbers we see reported by NPD.

Walmart - Due to avialiability and general proximenty to my living quarters.

Target - Due to Me buying Method soap and Bawls and there the only stores in my city that sell those two products, in which its ,out of convience or sometimes they have a good deal.

Gamestop - Good for the hard to find stuff there are more gamestops in my city then there are grocery stores and star bucks, we even have two in the same shoping mall one on one side and the other on the other, and during christmas sometimes they open a third one in the mall just for christmas.

Frys - Well its like visiting a walmart size store that only sells electronics.. I mean extremlly dangerous place to go to after getting paid.... usually sells things below street price and often runs deals...

Blockbuster - You know when your renting a game and you just see a new game and well, also good place to find hard to find games.
