Default Mounting concern.

The screws that came with my new TV aren't quite long enough to mount to the entertainment unit that I purchased with it. So I used the screws that came with the unit, which are slightly too long, I also used spacers that came with the unit as well.

Now my concern is between the mounting bracket, and the TV there is about a 3/4 inch gap because of the spacers. They are fixed extremely firmly to the TV and it hangs well... should the brackets be right against the TV or should I be OK with the way it is now?

Thanks.

I know when I wall mounted my samsung I had to use the bolts provided with the mount as well as the spacer. The order was wall-bracket-spacer-TV. As long as there is no space between the spacer and the tv or mount and spacer I believe your fine.

move the spacers to the wall side of the bracket. (use them like you would use washers)
or go to home depot and buy shorter screws.

I'm using spacers on my wall mount. It's been up about six months now with no issues. Just make sure you have the screws tightened good.

There's nothing wrong with the way you have it now.

As long as you have enough threads into the TV you should be good to go!
