Firmware - Blu-ray Forum

I wanted to point out that this web site is NOT up to date for Sony firmware updates at all. I just updated 4.50 and the version here is till showing 4.30. Yes there was a 4.40 as well.

Not trying to be caustic, but wanted to point out that they are not keeping these up to date, so you might want to check your owners web sites for any firmware upgrades.

Same with Pioneer BDP-05FD which is (2) updates behind.

I had sent a FORUM update for Panasonic BD30 being at 2.6; I know that 2.7 is out now.

Apparently the folks that run the site are (1) busy; (2) behind; (3) or don't care.

At least we in the community try to help one another with these postings and threads.

I somehow don't think that it would be option 3 as the folks that run the site seem to be a decent bunch when they are online - perhaps you think you could do better??

I dont think you should blame bluray.com for that. Really you should be responsible for checking up on that. That's what I've been doing. Stop being lazy and do some HW

Really? I just got the latest update in the mail 3 days ago and it was 2.6. What is 2.7 "fixing"?

Eays there...I only wanted to present an effort on my part to help the community (in case someone clicked on the FIRMWARE tab; they would see current information).

My not receiving any kind of a response from the site, one could take it as
being ignored; that's all.

And, for the record, I DO INDEED do my home work when it comes to HT.

You don't know me and you are incorrect to judge me with out specific facts.
