Default HT question

gentlemen,

I'm looking to pair a Polk Audio RM 705 set with a Onkyo 606 in a 15' x 15' rm with a sony BDP-BX1 blu ray player. Will this give me top notch video/audio?

Thanks in advance.

The player can bitstream both HD audio codecs, and decode Dolby TrueHD if you want, but not DTS-HD MA. Your Onkyo can accept the audio over hdmi and decode both audio codecs, so HD audio is all set.

As for the quality of the gear it is very good, but top-notch would be a few tens of thousands(or more) down the road.
