Braveheart on BD? - Blu-ray Forum

I know there were rumors about Braveheart coming to Blu ray, but I have never seen any thing official. Did a street date for Braveheart ever get set in stone or is it like it says on the site, any time in '09, if it is I'm a little

because I was looking forward to it.

I would buy it if this did happen, hopefully it will be a decent release :-)

I know! it appears Paramount would rather release piles of dudo like Waynes World 2 over historical masterpieces. Yet again, am partially complaining, because we cant go wrong with Buller's Day Off, Saturday Night and Grease.

Well, I'd rather Warner take more time on a good restoration and transfer than just push it out like many of thier titles. DO IT RIGHT, MAN!!!

I think Mel Gibson will ensure that this release is flawless.
He seems to genuinely care about the way his movies look on Blu.
