It was a good game on the TurboGrafix-16 and Genesis, but I'm unsure how it will be on PS3.

I loved the original, I even picked it up as a wii download. Still a wicked side scroller. I'd enjoy checking out the new version...I hope it's fun to play.

You can download it on the Wii through the Virtual Console, if you have a Wii that is.

EGM had a big article on it last month, looks decent for a smash and grab. There was a pic in there of the guy smashing some ghoul/dog-thing's head between his hands! I'd like to try it out.

I did love the TG16 Splatterhouse. I just loved the TurboGrafx 16 period. Just the mention of it in the forums has me surfing through eBay trying to find a console to buy.

I'll definitely check out the PS3 version.

I downloaded it on my WII and was excited as hell. Then I played it and Excitement went to dissapointment. That game blows now. It's amazing how things change over time but I still love Super Mario Bros and Castlevania.

In that same article, they hinted at the possibility of this title as a new multi-release franchise. I just don't know if there is that much of a re-play factor. But I'm definitely looking forward to this version.

I loved many things about the TG16, but Splatterhouse wasn't one of them. It was an OK game, but the controls were so clunky it made it very hard to play.

It came on the turbo-Card and not the cd but wasn't there a better version on NEC supergrahpics system that was never sold outside japan or was it another game system?

The ps3 is going to be third person instead of 2-d sidescoller but would of been nice in first person instead.
