Does anyone have any information about this LCD TV? I saw one at Wal-Mart and was impressed. The viewing angle was much wider than most LCDs I have seen. I can't find any info about the refresh rate, so I am thinking it is probably 60khz.

I have one and I really love it. Almost all my viewing is either HD DVD or Blu-ray and it does a great job. I use the personal picture mode and have to turn the contrast setting down to around 50-45.

I probably should have said almost all my viewing is Blu-ray or HD DVD! I still have my Toshiba Xa2 next to my Sony BDP-350 so I still use it. I bought Pitch Black yesterday on HD DVD for ten bucks. But The Philips TV has been a good one so far.

I have a Philips 42" from Sam's that's 60hz- I believe its the same model #. It's a decent set for the price. Picture quality can be very good, but with some of the picture presets can introduce flickering or judder to the picture. The combination of Perfect Pixel and sharpness on the set can cause some serious edge enhancement or can really soften the picture depending on where its set, so you need to find a balance. I have it set where there is still some flicker that is annoying to me, but I'm very particular.

Were I to buy again knowing what I know now, I'd save up more and get a Sony LCD or a Panasonic Plasma.

Talking Can someone help me

I finally found a site where people have the same tv that I have. Does anyone here know any custom settings to make the tv look better than what it came set up as? Does anyone mess around with the setting on this tv at all?
