Default Amazons Third Party

Notice that alot of the movies are real cheap from the third party how do I tell is it an authentic Blu-Ray and not a knock off.

They are very reliable for the most part, check their feedback. Amazon will guarantee the transaction, so it is pretty safe.

More likely to get knockoffs on ebay. As mentioned previously, Amazon will guarantee the transaction.

I'd no problem with the transaction it's the authenticity of the Blu-ray your buying is what I'm asking about.

well first of all you can never tell if its authentic or not unless you order from them. i've had a few orders done thru 3rd party sellers and so far i haven't had any complaints. but if your looking to buy from them i would primarily look at there seller rating & feedback. usually sellers with 95% and over is where i make my purchases also reading recent negative feedback could always sway your decision as well.

I've found some really good deals through Amazon Marketplace. So far, I've probably gotten 8-10 Blu's from Third Parties and I have no complaints.

And just like everyone else said, just check the reviews/ratings.

I do both, buy and sell, with Amazon Marketplace and have never had a hiccup with any transactions. Like other have said, Amazon backs it, and pay attention to the feedback ratings. Like buying anything used...you take a risk. Something I feel strongly about is buying something used from a private individual and expecting that if there were to be a problem, that you'd get the same level of support as brick and mortar establishment.
I think if you want the comfort of return policies and refunds, you might be better served to stay with a traditional storefront.

Knockoffs really do not exist yet for Blu-rays. The recordable media is still too expensive for pirates to make any money off burning BD-R's and selling them through legitimate sites like Amazon. But if you are worried that someone is trying to sell a dvd as a BD, always check the bottom of the disc. The differences between the two formats are obvious upon close visual inspection.
