Amazons 'Star Trek' Blu's - How does delivery work? - Blu-ray Forum

I have both Star Trek season 1 and movies 1-6 boxset pre-ordered with Amazon uk, my order states 'despatching soon'. What I would like to know do Amazon ship on the weekend to obtain a delivery on the day of release (Mon 27th) or do they ship on the release day? - I know I should just wait but I'm hoping on a Monday delivery!

Amazon I find is hit and miss. I got mine on tuesday and watching them when I was not busy.

If you ordered from else where you more and likely would of got them by now rather then on the release date.

Yeah it differs greatly.
I pre-ordered Twilight and that arrived the following Wednesday, however my Australia which isnt out until tomorrow, arrived over the weekend.
Think it depends when they receive their stock at the warehouse.

Play.com and HMV.com seem to usually guarantee delivery on release day or weekend before
