Default New hddvd player reviewed on cnet

If you go on today on cnet. they have a review of one of the new players up front. Do what i do, everyone that gave it a good review, vote not helpful and the ones that gave it a bad review vote helpful. Thats another way to support. And if anyone actually bought it and didnt like it post your review.

Am I the only one looking at posts like these and going "wow, this is just getting juvenile." Especially the posts containing the word "HD-dUd". Is that really supposed to be clever or funny? Because it's actually neither. With things like that, it makes the Blu-Ray supporters look just like the HD-DVD supports. Which, after reading a bunch of posts from HD-DVD supporters, is pretty sad.

Rather humourously there is a paradox in what he says:

Frankly I don't even bother reading such reviews as I believe I am personally experienced enough to make purchasing decisions based on the qualities in a product I am searching for. If it sounds/feels/performs/operates/looks good then it's a good buy.

I don't like HD-DVD, but to go out of my way to create problems is a bit much. Are we BD supporters, or gangsters? We're not pushing BD in other peoples faces and threatening them to like it or else! Geez, just support and enjoy the ride. When BD prevails and HD-DVD dies, you can brag that you were a supporter from the very beginning!

Lame.

Vote with your wallet instead. Far more effective.

Yep. Let's not turn into the HD DVD zealots of the type that populate a certain other forum we all know and despise.
