Does anyone know if Sharpe's peril or Sharpe's challenge are region free.

They are being released by 2entertain, which has generally released Region-free titles, although some have been at 50hz. I couldn't find anything specific on these two titles, so take it for what you will.

They both appear to be region b according to this website.

I had no idea these had been released on blu. Is there any chance we might see the olders episodes on blu?

I love Sean Bean's adaptation of Richard Sharpe. I hope they release the entire series onto blu.

I don't know about Sharpe's Peril, but Sharpe's Challenge was shot on Super16mm and post-production may have been done in standard definition only. That will be the case with most of the Sharpes, so Blu-ray releases will likely be upscaled from SD sources.
