Thumbs up Sony 4K SXRD projection vs. IMAX?

Which format is more superior? 4K or Imax?

IMAX because it has a far higher resolution. And at IMAX cinemas your picture will always be in perfect focus.

The 2 don't seem to compare directly.

IMAX all the way. 35mm film is even superior to 4k digital projection. I will take film over any digital format. When film is projected properly it is superior to all digital formats at this point in time.
