I just found out that Sony made some Blu-ray release announcements on April 3 but it didn't show up in Blu-ray.com's "Latest Blu-ray News". I was on the DVDtalk forum and saw the following list by GizmoDVD:

No dates yet but I heard early July

Labyrinth
The Dark Crystal
Easy Rider
Blue Thunder
The Craft
Midnight Express
The Quick and The Dead
Silverado
A River Runs Through It
Wolf / Dracula / Frankenstein Trilogy

Why didn't Blu-ray.com have this announcement? I already looked up some of these titles on Amazon and they can be pre-ordered, so it's real.

Because Sony has not yet issued an official press release.

Did you mean THE BIG BLUE? not THE DEEP BLUE?

I wish Marie Antoinette was on that list... there are some good titles there... I would buy GO for sure, and Dark Crystal and Labyrinth

I got this list from GizmoDVD on the DVDtalk forum, so it's possible GizmoDVD messed up the title when he listed The Deep Blue. I found every other title on the list available for pre-order at Amazon, but with no release date.

I'll probably get Labyrinth, Starman, The Craft, and Easy Rider. I've never seen Go. There are 3 movies on IMDB with that title. Was it released in 1999?

Hopefully Starman will be the SE that was released overseas.

It was lame they didn't release it here in the US.

Yep 1999 it was a teen type comedy but it was good, it surprised me... was from the Director of Swingers but oddly enough I can't make it thru Swingers at all. the cast is very interesting and Katie Holmes never looked better and Sarah Polley is amazing in the film. GO!

Yes, GO would be the 1999 film with Katie Holmes and Scott Wolf.

Labyrinth, The Dark Crystal, and Snatch are definite buys for me. Some others will be rented.

That's because they're not announcements. If/when the titles are announced, the site will likely post them at that time.

Because they are place holders for future announcements. Amazon adds them all the time. If you look, you can find one for Star Wars even though its never even been mentioned for a Blu-ray release.

Until Sony announces it, or puts it on a date, its just a wishlist.
