Good prices, but I own the eight I would want.

I'll have to get a Costco membership one day.

This is a Canadian thread and that's the cheapest I have seen it here.

Check out this thread for possible deals on the HP set for the US.

I have only been there twice since getting my HT setup. They had The Dark Knight at a good price the first time, and nothing the second time.

But yeah, there's always the possibility of a deal at Costco.

Their business model is unique though. They try to sell huge quantities of a very small selection at a profit of just 8-12%. Then they re-stock with something else. As their payment terms are deferred for a month or more, they earn interest on the money they will eventually have to pay for stock already sold. And they turn over the stock fast. They are almost a bank, rather than a retailer.

Great for us if their limited stock includes blu's we want, but we have to react fast when it happens.

How did your Accounting exam go?

Thumbs up Pricing Win

There are some good prices there. I'll try to pick up most of them.

Knowing - $24.99 ($27 at BB, $29.99 at amazon.ca and FS)
Harry Potter Boxset (1-5) - $68.99 ($92 at BB, FS, Amazon.ca)

Aliens vs Predator (for some reason $26 at most places)

Coraline - $28.99 (missed it in theatres)
Watchmen - $28.99 (missed it in theatres)

Where you get this info from? I'm not a big Costco shopper although I do have a membership.

Why would that be of a concern? I can tell you that it is 100% accurate.

Please note fellows...not all Costco's have the same selection at times. So there is no way for me to know which store will get what. I have noticed however that this is becoming less of an issue and before long you will see a significant increase in the # of Blu-ray titles available at all Costco location.

best thing to do if you dont have a membership...

1. Ensure you have a friend or family member who has a membership. get them to buy a bunch of 20$ gift certificates (or lower if they have them)
2. Go to Costco...you should be able to buy stuff with the gift certificate...if something is 50.00 only give them one of the 20$ gift certificates and pay the difference. you dont need a member with you at that point.

i know this used to work...in case it doesnt work anymore you might want to find out...but it used to

Coraline and Watchmen are cheaper at CHCanada for those of us that are members. F&F will be cheaper there too (don't think it's listed yet)

Good price for Knowing though - CHCanada doesn't carry Summit titles unfortunately.

I should probably renew my costco membership

Good luck! I had my accounting exam just yesterday and that's what happened as well. Most of the questions were not what I hoped for and I'm not sure how I did. When I read your reply I thought you were someone from my class. lol I've also repeated some acct courses before. Oh.. Imagine how many Blus we can get for $600.
