Universal Monster on Blu-ray - Blu-ray Forum

Anyone have any news on any of the classic Universal Monsters on Blu-ray. Got the originals sets on DVD but a restoration of these classics in HD would be a wish come true. Thanks for any info anyone may have.

Well I was thinking that The Wolf Man will probably get a release around the time the remake gets released in Nov. Don't quote me on that, it's just a guess.

I've posted on this subject numerous times---

hopefully the new WOLFMAN will be a success-- maybe that will get
Universal to consider releasing some of these classics--

Congrats to the OP for a great suggestion. I want all these as well. You guys remember that member who made really cool and authentic looking BD covers of all the Universal Monsters?

Those films probably need major restorations before they are released on Blu ray.
