Got my new Remote! - Blu-ray Forum

Wow wow wow. I am already in love with my Harmony 550. Within 15 minutes Im controlling everything! Im sorry that this is a rant thread, but I just have to say how awesome these remotes are. Haha

These remotes are one of the few things that seem too good to be true but really are.

My Harmony 1 has made my wife's life so much easier, which in turn has made my life much more easier. Funny how that works...I seriously recommend a universal remote to ANYONE!!!!

kinda cute little bit of knowledge here. this will work with any "i.r" remote. if you have ever had any troubles with your remote or not knowing if your batteries are dead. take your camera phone or digital camera, point the remote at the lens of the camera and push any button. you will see the ir coming out of the remote and therefore the batteries are good. like i said its a stupid bit of knowledge but it works.

I feel you on that. I just got a Harmony One and it is the BOMB!!! I want to learn how to tweak it more but it been the best remote that I owned. Shame on Universal Electronic for their contraption. Could never get that thing to work right...
