Default Radio station says Blu-ray "has pretty much won"

Had a few friends call me with this nice tidbit of info. They said the station was 103.7 in VA and made the announcement that Blu-Ray has pretty much won.

Lol. I have to agree. All the latest announcements and info coming out. The Blockbuster thing, the cheap BD player..

Bye bye hd-dvd. Nice not knowing ya!

As I mentioned in another thread, the New York City-based 1010WINS, the biggest news-only radio station in the country, mentions it today in it's hourly business reports with the title "Blockbuster may have dealth Toshiba's HD-DVD format a death blow"

on the morning show at 105.3 here in sd the host talked about his hddvd player being so awesome, and spouting some fud. unknowingly since he doesn't know crap about this stuff. I emailed him about how I think its a bad idea to spend all this money on the beast tv and surround then go with an inferior player. he read it, but never replied. maybe in a few months he'll talk about buying his bluray player and how much better it is then.

Just so you guys know, I am a radio DJ (announcer, personality) whatever ya wanna call it these days. Anyway, I have to be careful what I say (can't exactly PROMOTE any product outright) but I do get my little "digs" in to promote Blu-ray whenever possible !!!

Is it? I know in RIC it used to be B103.7. Classic Rock I think? I can't remember and they change station names and music types down here like people change underwear. Don't listen to that station anyways.
