My Bloody Valentine playback problem - Blu-ray Forum

I know there arent enought My Bloody Valentine threads (sarcasm!), but I have a problem. Every time I put this in my PS3, it searches for updates and installs them, even I just put it in an hour ago. There cant be that many updates to this disc. Am I having a PS3 problem keeping the downloads?

Same exact thing is happening to me on my laptop whihc is a Vaio VGN-FW160D. The last time I tried, the film had trouble loading. It's annoying because the first time I loaded it, the update wasn't even required and it played perfectly. Mine is a Canadian copy.

I also am having the same problem. I have a brand new Samsung BD-P3600 Blue-ray player on current firmware.

When I loaded the disc initially it said there were updates, I let them load then it just sits there. After a few minutes it comes to a black screen with a little image of the Coal Miner killer at the bottom of the screen and his miners light is flashing.

This is all that happens...it just sits here. I have left it on this screen for up to 10 minutes and nothing ever happens, very frustrating!
